Detroit to Idlewild

Reconnecting the city and the land that have always been linked in our story.

Launching in Summer 2026, this program connects families and groups from Detroit to Idlewild’s rich history. Participants will enjoy immersive camping experiences, cultural education workshops, and agritourism trips, while learning about the town’s unique heritage. Activities are designed to promote intergenerational engagement, family connection, and a deeper understanding of Idlewild’s historical significance.
